About Us

The St Michael’s O/35 Football Club is based in Lane Cove and plays in the Kuringai & Districts Soccer Association (KDSA). It is located in a corridor of Sydney that stretches from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Hawkesbury River and includes suburbs such as Gordon, Pymble, Lindfield, Killara, Lane Cove, Chatswood, Wahroonga, Artarmon, Hornsby, Willoughby, Turramurra and Killara. There are close to 1400 players registered in the 5 Divisions that make up the O/35s competitions. Each year there are more and more players joining to play the “world game”.


1973 - St. Michael's Lane Cove (former member of NSSA) joins KDSA, Juniors only
1999 - A group of fathers of students at St. Michael's Lane Cove form a seniors Football team
2000 - The senior club participates in the KDSA O35 competition, Div 3 (GF Winners)
2001 - The senior club grows to 2 teams, completing in Div 2 and Div 3
2002 - The senior club grows to 3 teams, competing in Div 2, Div 3 and Div 4
2003 - The senior club fields 3 teams, in Div 2 (Premiers), Div 3 and Div 4
2004 - The senior club grows to 4 teams in Div 1/1R, Div 3 and Div 4
2005 - The senior club fields 4 teams, in Div 2/2R (GF Runner up), Div 3 and Div 5
2006 - The senior club grows to 5 teams, in Div 2/2R, Div 3/3R and Div 5
2007 - The senior club fields 5 teams, in Div 2/2R, Div 3/3R and Div 5
2008 - The senior club grows to 6 teams, in Div 2/2R, Div 3/3R, Div 4/4R
2009 - The senior club fields 6 teams, in Div 2/2R, Div 3/3R, Div 4/4R
2010
- The senior club grows to 8 teams, Men's Div2/2R, Div 3/3R, Div 4/4R, O45 and Women's O35
2011 - Team will be finalised in March 2011
